Sylvia Hackathorn is a long time Portland folk, rock and theater composer/performer. She has created and performed extensively; beginning with her journey to Ireland in the early 1970s to learn from Irish musician Micho Russell, through the days of the punk music scene around Portland. She brings the same passionate sensibility to rock, electronic and world music alike. She has performed with Banshee, The Twist, The Girl Artists, Cours de Miracles, Unknown Soldiers and Bellissimonde among many others.
